Pre-16 education
Education is compulsory between ages 4-16 (Levels 1-2).
Post-16 education
Post-16 education is usually taken by anyone over the age of 16 (Level 3).
Higher education
Higher education is mainly taken by those over 18 years old (Level 4+).
